WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in The Holy Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ The Son and The Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inerrant, infallible and divinely inspired (God breathed) Word of God.
We accept only the Bible as our source of doctrine and instruction.
We believe in salvation by grace through faith placed in the only Savior of all men, Jesus Christ.
We believe the church to be the divinely appointed institution that God uses to send forth the gospel call,
to instruct the saints, to reach out to missions and the needy and to provide and promote fellowship for all who will believe in Jesus.
We believe in heaven as the eternal home of the redeemed.
We believe that hell is the eternal abode of the lost.
We believe the devil/Satan is the force of evil in this present world, the natural enemy of Christ,
the church and the redeemed. We believe he will be cast forever into the lake of fire
in God's future plan.

The Gideons are a body of believers dedicated to making the Word of God available to everyone and reaching souls for Christ. What began in 1908 as an Association of Christian businessmen placing Bibles in hotel rooms has evolved into an expanding mission to provide Scriptures to all people in nearly every facet of life. Today, the Gideon's have taken more than 2 billion Scriptures in more than 95 languages to 200 countries, territories, and possessions across the globe. Two Hearts Pregnancy Care Center is located in Ashland, KY and was founded by a group of Christians who were concerned about women and unplanned pregnancy. The center exists to offer alternatives to abortion, and give hope and help to women facing unplanned pregnancies. For more information, please visit them on Facebook.
For Jamie's Sake is a local, non-profit foster and adoption resource center located in Ashland, Kentucky. Jamie's Sake strives to raise awareness of children in foster care and those waiting to be adopted, while normalizing adoption as a means of creating a forever family. Perhaps one of our favorite missions at Moore Street is Operation Christmas Child. Each Christmas we come together to fill and pray over shoeboxes specially designed for needy children. Samaritan's Purse is an evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Basto Family is an amazing missionary family that Moore Street has supported for a number of years. Ferdinand, Christie, and their son Sean share a burden not only to win the lost, but to train disciples in Independent, Fundamental and Self-Supporting churches planted throughout the Philippines. Mike Blanton and Evidence Ministries present the Gospel via song and sermon. They are determined to praise God and present the Gospel in a clear, convicting format. The congregation at Moore Street is always eager to see Mike Blanton and Evidence when they visit. We are thrilled to be a small part of their ministry.
